make your mondays better with sunday's leftover dessert! chinese steamed "1000 layer" cake with 81 (true!) layers

and still we could eat..sunday evening, chinese sweet-and-sour spareribs with baked rice, vegetable stirfry and beansalad

oh, it's still weekend..sunday afternoon, leftovers from the sushi make YuMmIe wontons

Hi, this is the one and only post about me, just so you know the person digesting all you will find here is still alive and doing good. I'm in my 30th year, more or less struggling through a PhD in history, no good at the Chinese martial arts I do and, generally, the complaining type. Because of the food I get served, however, I not only survive but tend to smile..a lot. Therefore, why not make the world a better place, and share pictures of food! .. I have to admit though, 99% of the dishes were made by my anonymous boyfriend. I am very good at smiling and making people eat... Should anyone want to offer us a restaurant..you know were to find us :)
